A Perth-based motor trimming business has released an unique range of protective machine deals to the Queensland mining industry which are conserving some of the state's leading companies a large amount in replacement parts and precautionary maintenance costs.

"Installing new ram seals can take some mechanics around half a day, and have clear security implications, particularly where cranes or cherry pickers are required," he said.
"It's definitely a costly exercise regarding manpower and with machinery currently being down or obsolete for a few hours.
"That's why we've created our ram covers to be instantly set up, they slip on and are safe either side by a patented clamp; the whole process usually takes about 45 minutes and can improve the life of the rod and seals by several times.
"Given that an excavator ram may cost in added amount of $50,000, the cost savings are very awesome, which describe why the need for our covers is fast increasing."
One of the first businesses to fit the preventative covers to its entire truck fleet was Western-Australia, at its mine in far north WA.
Rio Tinto in Queensland and has simply placed a vast order for the sleeves, which MMT is producing in a range of safety colors, which includes yellow and orange.
"We're learning that the more progressive businesses are seeing the huge expense features, and our orders have additional by 20 per cent due to the fact first release into the Queensland market only 6 months ago," Mr Spouge added.
